When two people work together on some project, it goes so much more easily because two heads are better than one, and of course a million heads is better than two (case of Wikipedia).
This idiomatic proverb means it’s better to work in group than by yourself and there are many proverbs from many cultures that have the same meaning as “Unity is strength”, “Many hands make light work” and “The more, the merrier” …
